The
Neighborhood.
Developed in the early 1900s, Wagener Terrace is one of Charleston’s earliest planned neighborhoods. The community overlooks the Ashley River and is defined by its tree lined streets and craftsmen style bungalows. At the south end of the neighborhood is Hampton Park,
a sprawling 60 acres of gardens, a fitness trail, duck pond, playground and more. The Citadel, Charleston’s military college, is just across the park, and when the wind is right you can hear taps playing in the evening from your window.
These days, Wagener Terrace is home to families and individuals who crave the convenience and charm of Charleston without the hustle and bustle of the city’s intense tourism. It’s easy living… a stone’s throw from downtown.
